Professional Experience & Education

Vinay has over 25 years of M&A experience for private equity firms and public companies across the Industrial, Consumer, Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors.  Vinay spent 20 years in the M&A and sector teams at Deutsche, Goldman Sachs, Hawkpoint and Baird, latterly as a Managing Director in Baird’s Global Industrial Group where he worked for 6 years. 

He moved into his current sponsor coverage role in 2016 where he works with all of Baird’s sector teams to originate and execute transactions. Across his career, Vinay has transacted over 100 completed deals and has been involved in many others.

Vinay has a first class degree from Imperial College in London.

Outside the Office

Vinay is a qualified Chartered Accountant and treasurer of Seva Mandir UK, the UK arm of a leading Indian NGO.
